About the Depot

The building started life as a freight depot for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Trains are long gone, but the loading doors, the iron trusses and the scuffed brick are still here, and so is the habit of things arriving and heading out again.

We moved in during 2014 after two years of fundraising and one very long winter of renovation. Today the Depot hosts three Sunday services, Wednesday night Students, the food pantry on Thursdays and most of our citywide nights of worship.

Getting here

  • Free lot on Reedsdale Street, plus overflow at the Allegheny Center garage

  • Allegheny T station is five minutes away on foot

  • Step-free entrance by the old loading dock, elevator to the balcony
