About the gym
Confluence started in a living room on 44th Street. Two years later the neighborhood community house rented us its old gym, and we still meet under the same basketball hoop every Sunday.
The room seats about three hundred. Chairs go up at 8:00 and come down by noon, thanks to a set up crew that runs on coffee and old school hip hop. The 6:00 PM service is the one young adults call home.
